Hello everyone,
I hope you all are well.
I had to miss school because my husband had to spend Wednesday night, Thursday and Friday at the hospital. He is feeling better now, and I will be back on Monday.
Good news for students...no spelling test on Wednesday since I was unable to do the pretest on Thursday.
I will begin working with students one at a time during centers to check reading levels, comprehension (how well you understand what you read), and fluency (how easily you read without mistakes).
Centers will begin to change a bit, too. I will officially make the computers a center, as well as having a writing, and listening center, too. It will take a few days to get our "new" centers up and running, but I know they will be fun and help us become better readers and writers!
I am ready to get back to school and I can't wait to see you all there!
~Mrs. Wright
PS- Practice your doubles in Math...we are going to make doubles riddles on Monday!
I hope you all are well.

Nice to see You...
Hey kids,
It is great to see that ya'll are visiting the site.
I look forward to hearing some silly stories over the next few days. Be thinking of some silly ideas to write about, we are each going to choose one of our stories and publish it... soon!
Also, when your hangin' out at home, think about "matter." Ask yourself, "is this a solid, liquid or gas.?" Notice the properties of the things you have! Here are a few interesting items to explore:
Solid? Liquid? or Gas?

Oh yeah, if you use the Math link and do the drills I bet you will know all the ways to make 10 and all know doubles to 20...without having to count on your fingers! :-)

Hello everyone!
I hope you will find our webpage interesting and useful. I would like for the student (or parent) to please respond to this post by making a comment...just a-"Hi, Mrs. Wright!" or something like that would be great, thanks!
Mrs. W
PS- Also, would you please take the poll below so that I can get an idea of how often our classmates log on to the internet?:-)
